There are 2 entrances to South Mountain Spectator Entrance is located on Petersburg Road and the PIT Entrance on Red Tank Road.

Please Note there is a 12’ Railway Train Bridge on Petersburg Road from Mill Street that turns into Park Drive. 5 Ton Weight Limit has been put on the 2 Bridges by the Track. 1. Petersburg Road by the Spectator Entrance and 2. Red Tank Road off of Petersburg Road. Both bridges are scheduled to be upgraded in the very near future.

To avoid above mentioned bridges follow directions below.

• From Rt. 81 N.
• Merge onto PA-34 S via EXIT 47A.
• From Rt. 81 S.
• HANOVER ST. / PA-34 exit – EXIT 47
• Turn LEFT at Sheetz onto MILL ST.
• MILL ST. turns into PARK DR
• FOR PITS: Turn RIGHT onto RED TANK RD. Track will be on your Left.
• Spectator entrance Turn RIGHT onto PETERSBURG RD.
• From PA Turnpike
• Exit 226 Carlisle
• To Route 81 S.
• HANOVER ST. / PA-34 exit – EXIT 47
• Turn LEFT at Sheetz onto MILL ST.
• MILL ST. turns into PARK DR
• FOR PITS: Turn RIGHT onto RED TANK RD.
• Spectator entrance Turn RIGHT onto PETERSBURG RD

Beware of the 12′ Maximum Height Clearance Railway Train Bridge on Petersburg Road.
